As an experienced Project Manager, you will take on a key role in leading cross-functional transformation initiatives that shape the long-term direction of Global Manufacturing within Operations at Axis. In this role, you will navigate a broad stakeholder landscape, introduce new ways of working, and lead key initiatives that drive Axis’ Manufacturing journey.

Who is your future team?
You will join the Manufacturing Capacity and Cost team. This role will drive change by managing cross-functional initiatives, overseeing the full Global Manufacturing responsibility, roadmap and initiatives.

The team is part of Global Manufacturing, a diverse group of over +100 people divided into 5 sections with expertise in Manufacturing, Quality, Test & Production Processes, Production Engineering and Technology, Capacity and Cost.

Together, our work strengthens Operations in delivering on its mission and long-term strategy while contributing directly to Axis’ global efficiency and success.

What you’ll do as a Project Manager
As an experienced Project Manager, your mission is to lead complex and strategically important initiatives – ranging from business development, system implementation, or a combination of both. You will bring clarity and guide cross-functional teams through change, ensuring that the new capabilities support Axis’ ways of working and digital ambitions.

With a broad understanding of business processes, systems, and cross-functional dependencies, you will analyze impacts across the organization and translate challenges into scalable, future-proof solutions. Whether leading a project or shaping a key solution area, you will challenge the organization to think bigger, act more innovatively, and embrace digital transformation.

You will work closely with experts across the company to make decisions with lasting impact. By balancing subject-matter expertise, technical insight, and holistic thinking – while navigating diverse stakeholders you will drive the Manufacturing transformation journey. You will challenge existing structures, introduce new ways of working, and ensure solutions evolve in support of our long-term strategy.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Leading cross-functional and strategically important improvement and transformation initiatives within Global Manufacturing
  • Develop business cases to highlight opportunities and create a sense of urgency
  • Guiding cross-functional teams through change and ensuring successful adoption of new capabilities and ways of working
  • Navigating the organization with excellent people skills and stakeholder management
  • Educating internal and external stakeholders on new processes, ways of working, and implemented solutions
  • Bring project management experience to mentor and coach your peers.

Who are we looking for?
You are an analytical, curious, and positive Project Manager who thrives in a dynamic environment. You can comfortably switch between detailed process and technical exploration to high level-level strategic thinking – connecting the dots and helping teams see the bigger picture.

You enjoy leading projects, creating structures in ambiguity, solving challenging problems, and collaborating across organizational boundaries. You are confident in influencing stakeholders at all levels and excel at driving alignment and valuable results. You are self-driven, structured, and capable of planning and managing your own activities to deliver high-quality outcomes.

You bring experience from project management and related methodologies to be able to contribute to the development of the role, as well as to mentor and coach your peers in best practices.

Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English are essential, as you will work closely with stakeholders across functions and geographies to ensure the success of your projects.

We expect you to have:

  • A relevant university degree (minimum B.Sc.)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in project management within manufacturing and/or operations management.
  • Proven experience of initiating, executing, and completing operations and business improvement projects
  • Proven experience of working with structured project management methodology
  • Stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working with Manufacturing and/or Operations Management in a global environment
